The North Carolina State Highway Patrol will conduct Operation "TACT" (Ticketing Agressive Cars & Trucks) to crackdown on motorists driving recklessly around commercial motor vehicles. The operation will be conducted through September. This is a collaborative effort between the Highway Patrol & the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

Troopers will be cracking down on motorists driving aggressively around big trucks & ticketing speeders, tailgaters, & agressive drivers.

Motorists may report dangerous driving to the Highway Patrol by dialing *HP on their cellular phones.
